Selca
Selca is a town with the most statues or busts per capita in the world
Located on the gentle slopes of Plis (150 meters) halfway between the sea and spacious plateans in the hinterland Selca has long been renowed for it’s quarrying and stone cutting skills as testified by the imposing Neo-Romanic parish church, facables of private houses, piazza and cobbled streets. Selca is a town with the most statues or busts per capita in the world. With its 45 m tall bell tower, this impressive neo-Romanesque church dominates the square and rightfully bears its other name – the Brač cathedral.
